MARCH WITH LEAD, BUT WIN NOT FINAL
November 6, 2019

Citizens of Gotham City went to sleep on Election Night with no clear winner in what has been a contentious mayoral race. Sebastian Hady and contender Lincoln March are neck-in-neck with a margin of one-tenth of a point, and still several thousand ballots left to count.

HADY DEMANDS MARCH TO CONCEDE
November 8, 2019

Final counts are still being conducted in a close mayoral race between incumbent Sebastian Hady and his opponent Lincoln March. Hady and March remain so close that the election board is unable to make a final call on the winner. The March Campaign is starting to question deliberate dragging of the election, particularly with March holding a 1-point lead over Hady.

From Hady's side of the election, the sitting Mayor has called the Lincoln March campaign office multiple times in the last twelve hours, demanding March concede the election.

With no definite winner, the New Jersey Secretary of State Tanesha Way has been asked to step in to finalize and notarize the votes. Final day to notarize votes is November 26th.

ELECTION RESULTS IN MAYORAL RACE
November 18, 2019

After thirteen days of toiling over a tight and aggressive mayoral race, the Office of the Secretary of State of New Jersey has called the election in favor of Lincoln March. With a margin of barely half of a point, March just barely won out against Hady.

Within an hour of the announcement from Secretary May's office, the Hady Campaign has already filed an appeal including demands of a recount. No comment has been made from Secretary's May's office.

According to a press release from the Lincoln March Campaign, the new Mayor thanks Hedy for his service and promises the citizens of Gotham City that he is ready to go to work. March will be making a formal address tomorrow, November 19th, outside of city hall. Many of March's loyal supporters will turn out to support Lincoln March as he dedicates himself to his new service.
